Have you had negative reviews on your Google My Business listing and want to remove them? Discover how to do it

It is very annoying when you receive undeserved negative reviews or reviews from the competition. The question we all ask ourselves is whether it is possible to eliminate them.

The most common reasons why a business receives undeserved reviews are the following.

1) Make it a mistake and they got the wrong card.
2) Let the competition put it to harm you.

3) That the person who posted the review was having a bad day and posted a review when it wasn't deserved.
4) With some type of bot that they usually create that randomly put negative reviews.
5) Someone wants to tease you for whatever reason.

Whatever the reason, we have compiled the steps to follow if you want to remove those annoying reviews.

First Step) Contact the person who posted it to remove it

One option to remove that review is to contact the author and politely ask them to remove it. It is quite complicated if the name you have put is false. If you are the competition, you probably won't use an account with your real name to post negative reviews.

Remove negative reviews google my business

We explain some tricks to locate the aforementioned. We recommend searching for the name on Google, to see if it appears on some pages, on Facebook or Instagram and if you get it. You can also look at if they've posted reviews elsewhere and research those businesses to find out and try to find out a little bit about that person. In this step it's time to do a bit of detective León.

Second Step) Flag the review as inappropriate

If you have not been able to contact that person or they do not want to remove it, we have the option of trying to get Google to remove it. First, reply to the review confirming that it is fake. For example. "Hello Pedro, your name does not appear in our database and what you say I can assure you is totally false." Once done mark it as inappropriate comment.

For this you can do it from your Google My Business profile or from the Google Maps tab.

  • Find the review you want to bookmark.
  • Click on the three dots that you will find to the right of the opinion
  • Mark it as inappropriate.
Tell Google why it should remove that review.

You have to arm yourself with patience and wait, since they usually take time to respond. They may respond if:

 * It is clearly spam (you are promoting elsewhere).
 * Contains serious insults, threatening or racist (words like liar, fake or scammer are not considered inappropriate by Google).
 * It has been wrong business. For example, if your business is a hairdresser and says that the food was very good.
*PProvide private data (comment your real name, an address or telephone number).
* Comment names of other businesses advertising them.

If the virgin appears and they remove it, they will notify you by email indicating that they have removed the review. !! Congratulations!!

Trust Tip: It will help if you can ask friends, acquaintances, or family members to report the review. You will have a better chance of it being removed. If someone who is Local Guide level 6 or more does it, those possibilities increase. So report it as many times as you can.

Third Step) Contact Google directly.

If the first and second steps have not worked, there is still an option. What you can do is try to contact Google support to remove it.

To do so you just have to fill in the google contact form explaining the case. Of course, as with the second step, we recommend arming yourself with patience, since if they respond, they do not usually do so soon.

4) If neither option works, put positive reviews

If you have not succeeded, there is the option of getting positive reviews so that that annoying negative opinion does not come out of the first ones. You can ask friends or customers or easier, buy them on our website completely real.

From Rating Trust Corporation we do Justice and we give you the possibility to counteract them by buying positive reviews. You will be able to get real positive 5 star reviews from people who knows your business and is satisfied, thus improving the reputation and leaving the negative ones down. So do not hesitate, buy a few positive reviews at 50% discount in a totally safe and real way.

If you're going to buy reviews, do it right. Getting positive reviews will help you a lot in the positioning of your listing on Google Maps, but depending on the quality of the accounts with which reviews are posted, you may lose your listing or suffer penalties. If you are looking for the cheapest, you may get reviews of accounts that put many false opinions on sites where they have not been, causing Google to block them. Yes, Google detects it. When it comes to buying reviews for Google, cheap is expensive, so don't play it.
In Rating Trust it is not that it is cheap at all to buy reviews, since a review costs € 5 and if you buy 50 they go out to 4,5 € the review, but it is worth it since we do a previous control of each account before they put the review to validate that it is of good quality and is not blocked. We have more than 950 customers and more than 32.000 positive reviews, and we do not have any negative reviews or in our profile. Google Maps nor in Trustpilot because we do it very well. This is our guarantee.
