How to remove reviews from Google

First Step) Contact the person who posted it to remove it

We explain some tricks to locate the aforementioned. We recommend searching for the name on Google, to see if it appears on some pages, on Facebook or Instagram and if you get it. You can also look at if they've posted reviews elsewhere and research those businesses to find out and try to find out a little bit about that person. Second Step) Flag the review as inappropriate
If you have not been able to contact that person or they do not want to remove it, we have the option of trying to get Google to remove it. First, reply to the review confirming that it is fake. For this you can do it from your Google My Business profile or from the Google Maps tab.

- Click on the three dots that you will find to the right of the opinion
- Mark it as inappropriate.
You have to arm yourself with patience and wait, since they usually take time to respond. They may respond if:
* It is clearly spam (you are promoting elsewhere).
* Contains serious insults, threatening or racist (words like liar, fake or scammer are not considered inappropriate by Google).
* It has been wrong business. For example, if your business is a hairdresser and says that the food was very good.
*PProvide private data (comment your real name, an address or telephone number).
* Comment names of other businesses advertising them.
If the virgin appears and they remove it, they will notify you by email indicating that they have removed the review. !! Congratulations!!
Third Step) Contact Google directly.
If the first and second steps have not worked, there is still an option. What you can do is try to contact Google support to remove it.
